Chapter One : First acquaintance.I never regretted knowing you. It's one of the best things that happened to me.Memories jot back to 25th January 2008. I remembered, how it started like any ordinary day, where I would go to school, await the weekend and when school ends, I would just hang around then go home. Yet that day turned out different. So different, that it became a drastic change and importance in my life.
"Hey, can I have your email?" A tall, lean guy came up to my clique and asked. I was shocked. Usually, guys would ask Hazel for emails or numbers. Not me ...
"Huh? Why? " Was probably what I replied, due to shock.
"My friend wants it. He wants to get to know you." He replied.
"Oh … Give me his instead." I replied, and walked away.
By the time school ended, I was on my way to WhiteSands as usual. Like always, Chotiga and I dined at MacDonalds. That's when I saw the guy who asked for my email, together with his friends. My heart skipped a beat, and I wondered who on earth is the one who wanted my email.
After awhile, I tried to push that thought aside, and continued with my meal.
After which, Chotiga and I went to the library to slack for awhile. We tend to do that alot. It was becoming a "usual thing". That's when I saw you guys again. In the midst of choosing a book to start on, the tall guy came up to me and slipped me a note. A note with your email .
Later in the night, I signed onto MSN with much excitement. I quickly added you on MSN, and awaited for you to be online. I then signed on to Friendster, and started to check your profile. I looked through the entire profile and you appeared as a pleasant guy. With your spectacles in your picutres, you look kind of goofy, yet at the same time, I feel that you looked kindda cute. When a MSN window popped out, indicating that you were online, my heart skipped a little.
Immediately, I initiated to talk to you. Usually, I would never have a proper conversation with guys. It's not easy for me. I guess I don't have the skill to do so. But, when I talked to you, it was a whole different story. I started talking ever so freely. From school, to CCAs , to many more things. I then found out it was your birthday and I happily wished you happy birthday.
We talked for a couple of hours or maybe more. When I finally got to go offline, we said goodbyes, and I signed off.
"Why smile till like that ?" Momma asked, soon after.
That's when I notice I was still smiling, from our conversation …
